Schedule a photo session and come to American Legion Post 716 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, to get five digital images with the jolly old man himself! This offer is available for a family of up to four people, and you can receive bonus portraits if you bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. Local businesses such as EverDream Events Co., Shine and Sparkle by Laura Nails, Thrive in Wellness with Yvette, and more will also be set up for you to tackle some holiday shopping once your session is done.
3rd Annual Code Ninjas Gingerbread House Contest : Get creative this holiday season! Code Ninjas will be hosting a gingerbread house decorating contest party at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10. Bring your whole family and compete together for awards like “Best in Show,” “Most Creative,” and “Best Structure.” The gingerbread kit is included, but you are more than welcome to bring extra tools and decorations to make your gingerbread house pop. This event will be competitive fun for the whole family!

2022 Aliso Viejo Country Club Charity Classic : Register today for the first-ever Charity Golf Classic on Friday, November 18, at the Aliso Viejo Country Club. Prices are $175 per person or $650 for a foursome and include the 18-hole, four-person scramble golf tournament as well as lunch, hors d’oeuvres, and an auction, with proceeds going to South County Outreach and the Employee Care Foundation.
WISEPlace Volunteers for Homeless Women : California is full of homeless people who won’t get to celebrate the holidays this year. You can help these people, specifically the women, by volunteering with WISEPlace. They are looking for volunteers to transport meals from the donors to the WISEPlace shelter. Another fire hazard to be aware of is live Christmas trees. If you opt for a live tree over a fake one, make sure you keep your tree watered so it doesn’t dry out.
